1. Acceptance of Terms & Legal Binding
By accessing, browsing, registering an account, uploading a resume, or purchasing a job posting package on the Platform, you formally agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and our WooCommerce Refund Policy.
These terms constitute a legally binding electronic contract between you (the “User”, whether a Candidate or an Employer/Recruiter) and Soloman Careers, executed in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the statutory rules made thereunder. If you do not agree to these terms, you must immediately cease using the Platform.
2. Eligibility to Contract
In compliance with the Indian Contract Act, 1872, you must be competent to enter into a legally binding contract.
- You must be at least 18 years of age to register an account on this Platform. Minors are strictly prohibited from creating accounts.
- If you are registering on behalf of a corporate entity, company, or proprietorship, you represent and warrant that you possess the explicit legal authority to bind that business or enterprise to these Terms.
3. WordPress Architecture & Frontend Dashboards
The Platform utilizes a WordPress architecture running the Superio core theme framework, which divides users into two distinct operational roles managed through independent frontend panels:
- Candidates (Job Seekers): Granted an individual frontend workspace to build dynamic profiles, upload CVs/resumes, and monitor job application logs.
- Employers / Recruiters: Granted a business command portal to buy job listing credits via WooCommerce, post job descriptions, and view candidate applications. Users are strictly prohibited from creating hybrid accounts to exploit candidate directories.
4. Statutory Regulations for Employers & Job Postings
In accordance with Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000, Soloman Careers acts purely as an Intermediary. However, to retain safe harbor protection, any Employer posting a vacancy on the Platform must strictly adhere to Indian labor and non-discrimination statutes.
Employers explicitly agree that job postings will NOT:
- Contain discriminatory preferences based on religion, race, caste, sex, place of birth, or disability, in line with the Constitution of India.
- Post misleading, fraudulent, or non-existent job opportunities.
- Require job seekers to pay any “recruitment fees,” “processing charges,” “refundable security deposits,” or “mandatory software training fees” as a condition for an interview or selection. Breaching this rule will result in immediate termination of the Employer account, a permanent IP block, and reporting to cyber crime cells.
5. Statutory Regulations for Candidates (Job Seekers)
- Veracity of Information: Candidates are solely liable for the authenticity of their educational degrees, employment histories, certifications, and identity disclosures uploaded to the Platform.
- Prohibition of Misrepresentation: Forging credentials, impersonating another individual, or misrepresenting professional capabilities violates Section 66D of the IT Act, 2000 (Cheating by personation by using computer resource) and will result in dynamic content deletion and immediate account bans.
6. Compliance with the DPDP Act, 2023 (Data Usage Restrictions)
All Users must strictly adhere to the provisions of the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023 of India:
- Recruiter Restrictions: Employers are designated as independent third-party data processors for any candidate resumes they access through the Superio database. Recruiters agree to use candidate data strictly for legitimate hiring purposes for the specific post advertised.
- No Data Harvesting: Automated scraping, systematic downloading, or exporting of candidate contact lists (emails, phone numbers) for marketing, third-party databases, or cross-selling is illegal.
- Data Erasure Compliance: When a Candidate triggers the “Delete Account” button within their Superio frontend settings, the Platform will permanently purge their personal data from active databases. Recruiters who have previously downloaded such resumes are legally obligated under Indian law to erase that personal data from their internal records unless legally exempt.
7. Prohibited Platform Activities & Cybersecurity
Users agree not to engage in any activity that harms the digital infrastructure of the Platform. Prohibited activities under the IT Act, 2000 include:
- Using automated web crawlers, scrapers, spiders, or scripts to copy site content, structural templates, or directory layouts.
- Attempting to bypass the security matrix, scanning for vulnerabilities, or executing Denial of Service (DoS/DDoS) attacks against our Indian cloud servers.
- Uploading documents or resumes infected with trojans, ransomware, or malicious logic designed to disrupt the WordPress core file structure.
8. WooCommerce Commercial Terms, Billing, and Taxes
- Dual-Tier Packages: The Platform operates on a freemium model. Core access is free for candidates and basic employers. Premium feature enhancements, visibility boosts, and volume credits for both user roles are itemised dynamically on our WooCommerce catalog pages.
- Immediate Provisioning & Refund Policy: Because premium candidate features (e.g., featured profile status) and employer job credits are provisioned directly to your frontend dashboard immediately upon payment aggregator validation, all digital purchases are final and non-refundable.
- Subscription Cancellation: Recurring premium memberships can be paused or cancelled at any time through your account panel. Cancellations stop subsequent automated billing cycles but do not trigger pro-rata refunds for the current active billing window.
9. Intellectual Property Rights
- Platform Ownership: The Superio theme configurations, custom website design elements, source codes, logos, trademarks, and database architectures are the exclusive property of Soloman Careers.
- User Content License: By publishing job advertisements or profiles on the site, you grant Soloman Careers a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, display, and cache that specific content across our portal network to maximize matching visibility.
10. Intermediary Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers
- As-Is Basis: The Platform is provided on an “As-Is” and “As-Available” foundation. We do not guarantee that WordPress plugins, third-party job feed imports (such as Indeed XML feeds), or API streams will be uninterrupted or error-free.
- No Guarantee of Employment: Soloman Careers acts purely as a digital bridge connecting talent with enterprise. We do not guarantee jobs for candidates, nor do we guarantee specific candidate response volumes for recruiters.
- Verification Disclaimer: While we deploy automated screening patterns, Soloman Careers does not manually vet the financial solvency or background of every recruiter, nor the background of every applicant. Users are advised to exercise standard due diligence before entering corporate relationships.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Soloman Careers, its proprietors, directors, employees, and technology partners from any third-party legal claims, losses, statutory penalties, damages, or fiscal liabilities (including legal fees) arising out of your violation of these Terms, infringement of data privacy rights under the DPDP Act, or posting of illegal/fraudulent content on the portal.
12. Statutory Grievance Redressal Mechanism
In strict compliance with Rule 3(2) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, Soloman Careers has designated a unified desk for user support and dispute resolution. Any platform complaints, content violation notices, or data privacy requests under the DPDP Act, 2023 must be sent to:

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
- Applicable Law: These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by, interpreted, and construed exclusively in accordance with the substantive laws of the Republic of India.
- Jurisdiction: Any legal dispute, statutory suit, or arbitration proceeding arising directly out of the usage of jobocean.in or actions taken by the firm shall be subject to the exclusive legal jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Sabarkantha, Gujarat, India.
